The ladies at church gathered for a fall craft day. We made fall garlands and pumpkins. The fellowship was great, but what was even greater was watching everyone’s creativity come to life. There were so many different colors and things to adorn our pumpkins with and seeing the finished products was amazing.
It took me a little while to make a garland and three little pumpkins. There were different colors, styles and accent pieces to choose from. I am a little challenged in the creativity department, but it was fun to see the finished product. I was happy and pleased with all my creations.
Our creative God crafted each one of us differently and unique. There is no one that is like you. God created everyone with different features, sizes, colors and with different gifts. Our DNA and fingerprints are different from anyone else’s. Our inward being is different. We don’t all possess the same gifts, personality and mannerisms. Only God in is infinite wisdom could create you the way He did.
It is easy to become unhappy and dissatisfied with who we are. We see every imperfection and failure, but God sees His creation, His child. Today, I want to remind you, that if you are a Christian, you are a child of the Most High God and King. You are His craftsmanship. He doesn’t make mistakes.
God created you for a purpose. He created you to have a relationship with Him and to worship Him, all for His glory. The gifts that He has adorned you with are to be displayed through your everyday life.
Today, praise God for His creation of you.
“I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvelous are your works, and that my soul knows very well.” Psalm 139:14
“Everyone who is called by My name, whom I have created for My glory; I have formed him, yes, I have made him.” Isaiah 43:7

Fun fact: This is the garland and pumpkins I created and the sign is a reminder that we should always be thankful in everything.
